Website Refresh for Goodwill of East Texas

Goodwill of East Texas needed a comprehensive website refresh to better serve its community, improve user experience, and align its online presence with modern design trends. The main objective was to redesign the website to reflect the organization's mission, enhance usability, and make it easier for users to navigate, donate, and engage with their services.

Goodwill of East Texas’s existing website was outdated, difficult to navigate, and not mobile-responsive, which led to a suboptimal user experience. The site was cluttered, and key actions such as donating, finding local stores, and volunteering were not easy to access. Additionally, the content and design did not fully reflect the organization’s commitment to improving lives through community-based programs. The challenge was to create a modern, streamlined design that was both user-friendly and aligned with the organization’s values and mission.

Design & Development:I designed a modern, responsive layout using clean typography, vibrant colors, and intuitive navigation to improve the overall user experience.The homepage was designed with a clear focus on key actions, including donating, finding stores, and volunteering, to make these tasks easy to access. I also restructured the site to ensure that content was organized logically, allowing users to find what they needed quickly and easily.I ensured that the design was fully mobile-responsive, providing an optimal experience across all devices, as many users were accessing the site via mobile phones.I worked with developers to ensure the site was built on a robust platform that could easily be updated and maintained by the Goodwill team.
